Prior to this role, he led the Alcatel-Lucent corporate market intelligence team as Senior Director forecasting global telecom market trends, sizing, shares supporting CFO’s office, product groups and regions. A registered professional engineer with Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. Dr. Pittampalli is also a Registered Patent Law practitioner with a Mini-MBA from Wharton School of Business.

Pragati has over 13 years of experience in mobile operating systems, mobile security, mobile payments, and m-commerce. From working as a platform security engineer with Motorola Mobility to designing and developing PayPal’s mobile offerings, she has extensive end-to-end experience in all aspects of mobile technology. Pragati has dual masters in computer science and has taught and trained computer science students at different levels both in India and US. Moderator - Jon Potter, President, Application Developers Alliance
Jon Potter is responsible for The Alliance’s organizational development, program planning and executing its strategic agenda. He brings to the position more than 30 years of experience in building and managing coalitions; policy advocacy, political consulting, strategic planning and legal issues.
Potter founded the Applications Developers Alliance after 12 years as the executive director of the Digital Media Association, which represented pioneering digital media companies such as Apple, Pandora and Amazon.com, from 1998 to 2009.
Prior to his career in industry associations, Potter was a senior vice president at the government relations consulting and investment advisory firm Columbus Newport LLC. Before that, he was an associate attorney at D.C. law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges, where he specialized in policy and government relations work on issues such as digital copyright. Potter launched his advocacy career while a law student at New York University, managing political and non-profit fundraising from his dorm room.
Potter holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Rochester and a juris doctor degree from New York University School of Law.
Panelist - Mitch Bishop, CMO, Moovweb
Mitch is in charge of global marketing strategy and execution, which includes product marketing, lead generation and thought leadership initiatives. Prior to Moovweb, Mitch headed up marketing, the online store and community efforts at DotNetNuke, the world's leading open source WCMS for the Microsoft ecosystem. Mitch also led marketing for iRise, the world's leading software visualization company, where he helped grow revenue and the customer base more than tenfold. He has many years of marketing and sales experience building successful software businesses at Scopus, Sybase, Wind River Systems and Ingres. Mitch holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Connecticut. He also has a long history in motor sports and sits on the governing council of the non-profit International Motor Racing Research Center (IMRRC) based in Watkins Glen, NY.
Panelist - Jeff Klonowski, Manager, Digital Retail - Mobile, REI
Jeff leads mobile strategy and roadmap development for REI. He manages the entire mobile program life cycle from strategic planning to implementation and change management. Jeff is also an advisory board member and instructor for the University of Washington Mobile Business Strategy certificate program. Previously, Jeff was a mobile product manager for Sears Holdings, leading mobile initiatives for Sears, Kmart and Mygofer.

Peter has a distinguished track record as a mobile pioneer with over 25 years of experience in Mobile Technology start ups. Prior to Smaato, Peter has been helping out start up mobile companies with their go-to-market, corporate development and product strategies. Amobee was the last company that Peter helped as Interim Head of Products and Strategy.
Peter’s last full-time role was CEO and Founder of MSX which was acquired by Cellmania in January 2008 and then became VP Strategic Business Development at Cellmania (acquired by RIM), a leading mobile content platform provider.

Jennifer Kent is part of the Digital Health and Mobile Product research team. She studies mobile industry trends including wireless carrier strategies, next-generation networking, and mobile consumer devices. Her digital health research focuses on digital health records and devices, fitness and wellness applications, and mobile healthcare trends. Since joining Parks Associates in 2009, Jennifer has also worked on the consumer research team, analyzing consumer data related to various areas of the digital home and consumer electronics industries.
Jennifer earned her BA in politics from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and her MA in church-state studies from Baylor University in Waco, TX. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Baylor University for a PhD in Religion, Politics and Society.
